It opened in September, 2019. It is one of the world’s biggest airports. It is in Daxing, Beijing. From the air, it looks like a flying phoenix (凤凰). It’s fantastic.
On Dec. 26th, 2014, the workers began to build the new airport. It is 46 km from its north to Tian’anmen Square. You can go there by bus, by subway or by taxi. The big terminal building (航站楼) has got 5 floors. For now, the new airport has 4 runways (跑道).
