My Trip
Dear Alice, How are you? How is your new school? Our maths teacher, Mrs Robinson, asked about you one day. She said she missed you. I visited Xiamen last summer holiday. It’s a beautiful city in China. I stayed there for fourteen days. I stayed in a lovely small hotel (酒店). It’s not very far from Xiamen University (大学). I rode a bike on Huandao Road. I saw many beautiful beaches. People swam in the sea. I didn’t go swimming because it was too hot. I also visited Gulangyu Island (鼓浪屿). There were interesting museums, beautiful buildings and delicious food. I liked the buildings best. They looked so special. I took a lot of photos. I will send them to you. Did you have a nice trip?
