The 24 Solar Terms—Start of Spring
Start of Spring is the first solar term of the year. It comes on February 4th this year. We eat spring pancakes on that day. We call it “biting (吹) spring”. To take a bite of the food is to take a bite of the spring. It means (意思是) people want a better year.
After Start of Spring, spring is coming. It is getting warm. Trees start turning green. The grass comes out. People always go for an outing.
Start of Summer is on May 5th in 2022.A new season comes.
