Wonders of the world(世界奇迹)

A coral reef(珊瑚礁) grows under the sea.   Coral looks like plants but it is made up of(由……组成) animals. The biggest coral reef in the world is the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.   Coral is a living thing. The Great Barrier Reef is growing now.

An island is a piece of land(一片陆地) which has water all around it. Some islands are in the sea. Some islands are in lakes or rivers. Islands can be big or small. Greenland is the largest island in the world.   Greenland is very cold.   It snows every month of the year.

The animals are all in the zoo. The pandas are fat. But the tigers are thin. How many elephants? There are six. They’ re big. What’s that? It’s a baby lion. It’s so short. Look! This is a yellow bird. It’s small. I like the zoo very much. What about you?

Hello, I’m Chen Tao. Here is a photo of my family. This is my grandmother. She was a singer many years ago, so she wore beautiful clothes. My grandfather was a doctor in the past. My parents are teachers now. They teach in different schools. My father teaches Maths. My mother teaches English. Oh, my grandmother is learning English now. My mother teaches her.

Panpan is a panda. He's fat and small. He has two small ears. And they're black. Panpan's nose is small and black. He has big eyes and a short tail(尾巴). Panpan has a brother. His name is Pangpang. He's fat and big. Panpan and Pangpang's favourite food is bamboo(竹子). Panpan has a good friend(朋友). He's a monkey. His name is Mock. Mock is small and thin. And he likes fruit(水果). Panpan likes Mock very much.

Look! This is a zoo. Some tigers, lions, elephants, monkeys and a panda are in the zoo. The lions and tigers are big. The elephants are tall. Look at the monkeys, they're thin. But the panda is fat. I like them very much.

Look, there are some animals in the zoo. The monkey is small and thin. The panda is fat. The elephant is tall and big. The bird is small. How about the baby monkey? It is short!

Hi, I'm Zhang Xin. I'm a Chinese boy. I have three new teachers. An art teacher, a Chinese teacher and a music teacher. My art teacher is Mrs Liu. She is kind. But sometimes she is very strict, too. My Chinese teacher is Mr Chen. He is tall and funny. My music teacher is Miss Huang. She is young and helpful. I like them very much.

Thirty years ago, I was a little girl. I lived in a small house with my parents. We couldn’t eat too much, because we didn’t have enough food. There weren’t any televisions or cars. But now we live in a tall building. We can watch TV every day. We can eat delicious food. We can play games on the computers, too. There are many cars in my city. And our city is more and more beautiful. Our country is getting richer(富裕) and stronger(强大). I love my country. I love my city. I am happy every day.
