It was Saturday yesterday. The Browns were at home. Mrs Brown was in the kitchen. She made some apple juice and chicken for lunch. The chicken was very delicious(美味的). Mr Brown wasn’t in the living room. He was outside. He cleaned his car. The car was new and very beautiful. Jim was in the garden. He played football with some friends. Where was his sister, Sue? She was in her bedroom with her friend, Ann. They studied math together(一起). They’re going to take a math test next Monday.

My name is Alex. One day, I was walking in the school. A big Australian student came to me and said, “Give me five.” He said it many times. I was very afraid at that time. I thought he was a robber(强盗). I told him I didn’t have five yuan and I couldn’t give him five yuan. He looked at me and became very angry. I ran away quickly.

In the evening, I told it to Mr White. He is the head teacher of the school. I wanted him to do something with that boy. But Mr White had a good laugh at it. He told me, “The student wins the basketball game.” The boy was very happy and he wanted to tell other people about it. “Give me five.” really means “Clap hands with me.”

A Busy Day

Amy and Tom often do a lot of things on Sunday. They are going to have another busy day next Sunday. In the morning, Tom is going to visit his aunt and Amy is going to buy a cat in the pet shop. She likes little cats so much. Tom is going to have lunch with his aunt. After lunch, Amy is going to borrow some magazines and comic books in the library. Tom is going to buy a dictionary and a new CD in the bookstore. Finally, Amy and Tom are going to buy some apples, cookies and milk and go home by subway.

I had a good time last Sunday. I went to the beach. I took some photos there. And then it began to rain. I ran to the market and bought an umbrella. I got wet before I went to the market. The rain stopped so I went to the bookshop. There were lots of books about English, math and P.E. I bought two books about nature and count. My favorite subjects are science and math. After shopping, I went home to finish my homework. When I was doing my homework, the telephone rang. It was my cousin who called me. He asked me to see a film at the cinema. I was too busy to go out. I felt a little bored because I stayed at home all night.

Last Sunday, I was at the bus stop with my friend, Mary. We were waiting for the bus. Many people were standing at the bus stop. Suddenly, one woman shouted, “Oh, no! Where is my wallet? I can’t find it!” At the same time, a young man started to run. “He is the thief!” the woman shouted loudly. Four young men ran after the thief. They ran very fast. They caught the thief soon. They gave the wallet to the woman and called the police. The woman said thanks to them. Two policemen took the thief to the police station. We all clapped our hands. These young men were so brave!

Yesterday was Sunday. Early in the morning, I ran in the park. At seven thirty, I ate breakfast. I ate a hamburger and an egg. I also drank a bottle of milk. At eight o'clock, I went to the library. I read a book there. I went home at twelve. I had lunch with my mother. Then we went shopping. I was very busy but I was very happy.

Last Sunday

At about six in the morning I got up, then I brushed my teeth, washed my face. I often do some exercise before breakfast, but I didn’t do that day. I was too hungry, I hurried to look for my breakfast. To my surprised, I didn’t find anything to eat. I had to make some egg pies by myself. At about 8 o’clock, I reached at Mike’s home. Nearly everyone had been there. Then we began to play. We played chess, played cards. Some of us played the computer games. But we all felt bored. At last, Mike got an idea. Then we went climbing. At top of the hill, we flew a kite. Unfortunately, the kite flew away. It was Mike’s birthday present from his grandfather. He was so sad. At about 16: 00, we went home.

Mother Duck had new babies. She took them to swim. One baby was big and strange. The ducks and other animals on the farm laughed at him and pushed him around.

One day, the ugly duckling met two wild ducks. They laughed at him. Then a dog came, and he killed two wild ducks. He said to the ugly duckling, “Don’t worry. I won’t eat you. You’re too ugly.”

Soon it was autumn, the ugly duckling was swimming in the river. Some beautiful swans (天鹅) flew over the duckling. He wished he could be like them.

One day, the ugly duckling grew up and his wings became strong. He flew high into the sky. He’s not a duck at all. He’s a beautiful swan.

We stayed there for four days. We visited Uncle Li, my father’s friend. We stayed with him. Then, we took a train to Sydney. We stayed in a big hotel. We visited the Sydney Opera House. We also went sightseeing. We stayed in Sydney for five days. After that, we flew to Beijing. We were tired, but we were very happy.
