My Weekend Plan

I’m going to have a busy weekend. On Saturday morning, I’m going to ___________________________________

A man is walking through a forest (森林). He has some c1． in his hand. In the forest, there are a lot of monkeys. It is hot, so he wants to have a r2． under a tree. He puts a cap on his head and lies down to s3．.

When he wakes up(醒来), he can’t find his caps. “W4． are my caps?” he cries and looks up. He sees some monkeys in the tree. Each has a cap on its h5．. “Give back my caps!” shouts the man to the m6．. But the monkeys don’t understand him. They only jump and laugh.

“H7． can I get back my caps?” he thinks hard. At last he has an8．. He takes off his cap and throws it on the ground. The little monkeys do the same t9．. The man quickly picks up all the caps and goes on his w10．.

Tom’s grandfather bought Tom a bird last month. He liked it very much. He kept it in a small cage(鸟笼). He gave it water and food every day. However(然而), the bird wasn’t happy. It never sang songs. Tom was sad.

Yesterday Tom went to the park with his parents. He saw many birds there. They looked very happy and sang songs. Tom said to his mother, “I don’t think birds like living in a small cage. I will take my bird to the park tomorrow. I’ll open the cage and let it go out to meet its friends. Then it will be happy and sing songs.”

Tom is a young man. He is tall and thin. ______(play) basketball is his hobby. Tom has a lovely dog. It’s short. It’s very clever. The dog likes running after Tom.

It’s a sunny day. Tom plays basketball in the playground. After playing basketball, he wants to go home by car. His dog comes after him, but it doesn’t run to the same(相同的) car with Tom. It runs to another car. “Come here, foolish dog!” Tom shouts at it. But the dog still stays near another car. Tom puts his key into the lock(锁) of the car, but the key doesn’t turn. Then he looks ______(介词) the car again. Oh! It is not his car! He is near the wrong car! The dog is near the right car!

My City

I’m Lisa. I come from Canada. I want to have a wonderful holiday in China this summer.

I know there are lots of beautiful places to visit in China. I want to visit the Great Wall. It’s in Beijing. It’s very long and strong. I want to go to the Huangshan Mountain. It’s in Anhui. There are beautiful clouds, stones and trees in the Huangshan Mountain. I know the Guest-Greeting Pine (迎客松) is very famous. I want to see it. My friends say Guilin is a beautiful city. It is in the south of China.

I want to take a boat ride along the Li River. What should (应该) I do? I want to visit all these places.

Shanghai is one of the biggest cities in the world. It’s to the south of Beijing. There are many famous buildings and beautiful places there, such as the Jinmao Tower and the Oriental Pearl Tower.

Shanghai is an international city in China. It’s also an international city in the world. It’s in the east of China. There are lots of interesting places in Shanghai. Many people go sightseeing (观光) in Shanghai. There are lots of shopping centres in Shanghai. Many people go shopping there.
