I’m Wu Chen. I’m a pupil from Hangzhou. Today I want to tell you something about our school things.

First, our school had a sports meeting in April. It lasted(持续) two days. All teachers and students took part in it. I was the first in the running race. My friend Li Sha won the girls’ throwing. Mrs. White took part in the long jump. Everyone was excited.

Second, we had a study travel(研学旅行) in May. We went to Shanghai by train. We stayed there for two days. In Shanghai, we visited Shanghai Science Museum, Nanjing Road, the Bund and so on. Shanghai is a beautiful city. I hope to go there again.

Mr. Brown is a tall man. He wears glasses. He works in a big school. He is a math teacher. He teaches very well and he is very kind to his students. All the students like him very much. It’s twelve o’clock now. It’s time to have lunch. But it’s raining now. He doesn’t take his umbrella. He is worried (发愁的). Then Liu Wei comes and gives him an umbrella and runs away. Mr. Brown sees Liu Wei goes under his friend’s umbrella and gives him a smile. He feels very happy.

Mrs. White is forty years old. She is a tour guide. She is usually busy. But she joined a club called “passing (传递) help” club (俱乐部) a week ago. She would like to tell why she joined it.

One evening, there was something wrong with her car on her way home. Later, a bus came. She wanted to take the bus home, but the driver told her the bus didn’t go to her town. Mrs. White waited there for about an hour. A car stopped in front of her and a young woman came out. She was just the bus driver. “Get into my car and let me take you back to your home.”

When they got to Mrs. White’s home, Mrs. White wanted to give the driver some money to thank her. But she said, “No! I just want to help others and do something nice for them.”

What do you think is the most useful in our life?

Alice: I think the mobile phone is the most useful. We can talk to people far away from us. And we can send messages, take photos and do many other things with the mobile phone. My father bought one for me when I was eleven. I use it every day.

Jenny: There are many useful things-the train, the car, the plane…But I think the most useful thing is the air conditioner. I live in Hong Kong. It's very hot in summer here. If we don't have air conditioners, we can't work or study. A lot of people will be ill if they don't use them.

Kitty: The Internet is the most useful. My parents have a clothes shop in Shanghai. We have a website (网站). Now, people from all over the world can buy our clothes on our website. We often send e-mails on the Internet. It's fast. And that's cheaper than(比……便宜) using the mobile phone.

Sam: I also think the Internet is useful. But I think electricity is the most useful. Many things work with electricity.

I’m Lin Tao. Our school had a sale last Sunday, because the school wanted to teach us to be kind and to love people around us. We had the sale in the park. Every class took part in the sale with the guide of their head teacher. There were many different kinds of things at the sale. I sold twenty notebooks, fifteen toy cars and five pairs of scissors. I got two hundred yuan. When we went back to school, we collected (收集) all the money happily. We gave the money to a hope school finally. It was not too much, but we hoped we could help the children there. After the sale, we knew helping others could make us happy.

Do you know Wang Yaping? She is a Chinese spacewoman. She dreamed of flying to the moon when she was young. Wang Yaping is a hard-working woman. To make her dream come true, she works hard every day. After her first space (太空) travel in 2013, she went to space again last year. That was her second space travel. She stayed in the space for about six months, and this is a new record (记录) for the Chinese astronauts (航天员).

Wang Yaping is kind and outgoing. On March 8, she sent a video message to women around the world. In the video, she said, “Ladies(女士们), we are from different countries(不同的国家) and we work in different places. But all the women in the world have the same dream. That's to make a peaceful (和平的) world.” Some girls have space dreams like Wang Yaping. She hopes those girls can always work hard for their dreams. “If you do so，one day, your dreams will be not so difficult to come true.” she said.
