Hello. We are Billy and Sally. We have two new classmates. They are Li Ming and Li Hong. They are brother and sister. They are twelve years old. They are twins(双胞胎). Li Ming is tall and fat, but Li Hong is thin. Li Ming likes eating sweet cola and cold ice cream, but Li Hong likes eating fish and vegetable(蔬菜). They have two robots. They are new. The red robot is Li Hong's and the green robot is Li Ming's.

Some American schools begin in September after a long summer. There are two terms（学期）in a school year. The first term begins in September, and the second usually starts in February. Most American children begin to go to school when they are five years old. Most student are 17 or 18 years old when they finish high school（中学）.

High school students take only four or five subjects each term. After class they do many interesting things. After high school, many students go to college（学院）or university（大学）. They usually have to pay a lot of money. So many students work after class to get money for their studies.

Two friends are having a holiday. Their names are Jim and Tim. Tim is very lazy.

On the first evening of their holiday, Jim says to Tim, ‘Here’s some money. Go and buy some meat.’

‘I’m too tired,’ answers Tim. ‘You go.’

At last, Jim says, ‘The meat is ready. Come and eat it.’ ‘Yes, I’ll do that,’ answers Tim. “I don’t like saying ‘No’ all the time.”

So our clothes can make us feel better about ourselves.

I like casual clothes（休闲服）best. And I like dark blue best. So when I wear a blue sports T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and white sports shoes, it can make me feel energetic（充满活力的）.

Eric and Ben are brothers. Eric is nine years old. Ben is eleven years old. Eric is a fat boy, but Ben is a thin boy. Eric can play cards, but Ben Can play basketball. Today is Eric’s birthday. His friends are in his home. They give Eric some presents（礼物）. Danny gives him a ball. It’s black and white. It’s a football. Alice gives him a toy bear. It’s lovely. It’s brown. Mary gives him some balloons. Three are red, five are blue and two are black. Now they are eating a cake. They are happy.

This is my friend. Her name is Supergirl. She's twelve years old. She has long hair. It's black. She can run very fast. She can swim and dive, too. She can fly very high in the sky, but she can't cook（煮饭）. She has a dog. His name is Superdog. It's only two years old. It can fly, too. Supergirl and Superdog are good friends.
