It is Christmas time in Canada. Martin drives to his father’s house. He gives his father a Christmas tree. His dad is very happy. Then, Martin’s brother Jack, gets to their father’s house. He also has a Christmas tree for their dad.
“I don’t need two trees,” says dad. “Let’s give one to the Brown family. They have nothing for Christmas.” So the three men drive to the Brown family’s house.
It is a small house. Jim is the youngest son of the family. He cannot walk. He sits in a wheelchair. Martin gives Jim a nice, big present. Jack gives them the Christmas tree and their father gives them chocolate, cakes and a roast turkey.
“Merry Christmas!” they say together. The Brown family say “Thank you very much. You’re friendly.”
