It is Sunday today. The weather is fine. Daniel and Jane are in the park. The park is beautiful. They come here to have a rest(休息) after a week’s work and study. Some boys are playing football on the grass. Some girls are singing and dancing. An old woman is reading a newspaper(报纸) on a long chair. A young man and his little son are playing toy cars. How happy they are!

Today is Saturday. Jack, his sister Rose and his parents are enjoying the flowers and the trees in the wild.

They’re having a picnic. Mum is making food for everyone, and Dad is busy taking pictures. Rose is singing and dancing with her favourite pet, a little cat, on the grass. Is Jack reading a storybook? No, he isn’t. Sometimes he catches the butterflies, sometimes he just runs around. Look, there are some bees and butterflies flying from flowers to flowers in the wild now. What great fun they are having!

But her mother stops her and says, “Look at your bedroom. It is untidy. Please make your bed. Open the window and air the room. Clean the floor. Put your books in your schoolbag. ” She says, “OK, Mum.” It’s 9:00. She asks, “May I go now?” “Yes, you may,” says her mother. Amy rides her bike and arrives at the park at 9:20. She sees a boy running on the grass. She points to a sign (牌子) and says, “Don’t walk or ran on the grass.”

Now let me tell you something about my family. There are three people in my family, my father, my mother and I. I like my family.

My father’s name is Wang Li. He is forty years old, but he looks young. Today is my father’s birthday. He is a Chinese teacher, but he knows English very well. His students think he is a good teacher. He loves me and I love him, too.

My mother’s name is Liu Ying. She is forty, too. She is a worker. Sometimes she works until (直到) too late into night. I think she is a very good worker and mother.

My name is Wang Ping. I’m thirteen years old. I’m a girl. I study in No.26 Middle School. I have some good friends. I go to school and back home on foot. I like English and Chinese.

My parents do too many things for me. I must study hard for them.

Look! This is my classroom. My name is Andy. I'm writing a story. Tim is listening to music. Jenny and Lynn are singing a song. They are very happy. Mike is drawing a picture. Look at Rose. She is reading a book.

Anna is a little girl. She is nine years old. Her father works in a factory. Today her mother is going to take her to see her father. The factory is far from their home, so they are going there by bus. There are twenty people on the bus. Anna is very happy. She is running on the bus. “Don't run! It's dangerous. Sit down, please,” says her mother. “I miss my father very much. I hope the bus can run faster,” Anna says.

   My name is Linda. I live in Beijing. There is a bookstore near my home, so I can walk there. There are many good books in it. My classmates and I often go there to buy books. My mother is an English teacher. I like English very much. On Saturdays, my mother and I often walk to the bookstore. She buys some interesting English books for me. I want to read many books and learn English well. And I want to be an English teacher, too.

Today is Teachers’ Day. We don’t go to school. It’s sunny and cool. We are having a good time with Miss Wang in a nature (自然) park. She teaches us (我们) English. She is kind. We all like her. Look! Fangfang and Lingling are singing and dancing. Binbin is picking (摘) flowers with Dongdong. Mingming is watching a rabbit. Is the rabbit sleeping? Oh, no, it’s eating carrot (胡萝卜). Miss Wang is cooking lunch for us. I’m helping her. I’m washing (洗) vegetables and fruit. How happy we are!
