Shanghai changes a lot in transportation(交通).

In the past, there were few cars. Now there are many kinds of cars. There were not any bridges above the Huangpu River. Now there are some bridges on it. There were no tunnels(隧道)under it.

There were no undergrounds. Now there are many undergrounds. There were no light rails(轻轨)and maglevs(磁悬浮). Now there are some lights and maglevs.

The changes make our lives more convenient(方便). I like the changes.

My parents work in a shoe factory. They get up at five thirty. They first have breakfast. Then they go to work by bus. They work there from eight to five. They come home at about six and prepare supper for us. Mother washes clothes in the evening. Father often makes toys for us. They are busy all day.

Tom is seven years old. He goes to school every day. The school is far from his home. So he goes there by taxi and comes back home on time (准时). But today he is late. His mother asks him, “Why are you late today?” “I am in the headmaster’s (校长) office.” “Why do you go to the headmaster’s office?” “Because my teacher asks us a question in class, and nobody (没人) can answer it, but I can.” “It’s good to answer the teacher’s questions.” “But the question is ‘Who puts glue on my chair?”

Martin is six years old. He is a student of Grade One. His home is not far from the school, so he goes to school and comes home on foot. He usually goes home from school at a quarter past five, but today he is late. His mother asks him, "Why are you late today, Martin?"

"Miss Green is very angry. She sends (送) me to the headmaster (校长) after school," Martin answers.

"What? Why does she send you to the headmaster?" Mum asks.

"Because she asks a question, nobody can answer but I can."

Mum is angry, "Why does she send you, then? Why doesn't she send your stupid (愚蠢的)classmates?"

"Because her question is 'who puts glue on my chair?' Martin answers.

   Doctors must learn all about our body. So they have to stay in their medical(医学的)schools for a very long time. And they learn a lot of things about our body’s system(系统). When we feel sick, we will go to see a doctor at once.

Teachers also spend(花时间) a lot of time in learning how to teach others. There are teachers for each subject, for example, Chinese teachers, Maths teachers, English teachers and so on.

It is a sunny day today. We go to the zoo. We take a bus to the zoo. In the zoo, we see many animals. Look at the pandas. They are so lovely. They are sleeping. We take some photos with them. The monkeys are jumping and running all the time. Then we have a picnic. We eat some sandwiches. We go home at 4:00 pm. We have a good time.
