I did a survey about students’ favorite TV shows in our school. Here are the results.
When the COVID-19 pandemic spread in the US, all students stay at home. I open a mini “school” for my sister and her best friend, Karen, in a garage(车库).
After cleaning the windows and sweeping the floor, the garage is very clean. Later, we bring in a few tables and chairs, lots of paper, a whiteboard and a bag of markers(马克笔).
The class will begin every day at about 3:00 in the afternoon till evening. Karen’s mother, Emma, gives me a dollar a day and my mom does, too. When Karen and my sister first arrive, I teach them about the days of the week, months of the year, the seasons and the weather. I also draw many pictures on paper with a black marker for my “students” to color.
We do different activities every day. One time, we stick pictures of ourselves on the paper plates, decorate them and put them on the wall. During the break, we play in the driveway. Sometimes, other friends join in the fun, until the moon light the dark night sky.
I really enjoy being a teacher and I hope I get more opportunities(机会) to teach soon!

Apple showed the Apple Vision Pro headset on June 5. It looks like a pair of ski glasses. ①
When you wear the headset, you can see the virtual(虚拟的) world and the real world together. ② For example, if you are in your bedroom watching a movie, you can see the movie playing in front of you with the rest of the room there in the background. You can open more apps and “put” them everywhere you like, such as on your bed or windows! ③
④ Also, the headset doesn’t need a remote control(遥控器)! You can control it by moving your eyes and fingers. For example, when you move your fingers up, the page you are looking at also goes up. There are twelve cameras, six microphones and many other things on it. They see your moves and help you control the headset.
This marks “the beginning of new times” Apple CEO Tim Cook said. The Mac guided us to personal computers. The iPhone made us into mobile computers. And now, Apple Vision lets us have “spatial(空间的)” computers, said Cook.
However, there are still some shortcomings of the headset because this is the first of its kind by Apple. A user said it could be heavy because you needed to wear it on your face. It’s also very expensive. More importantly, more technology(技术) of the headsets is wanted.
