①Hangzhou, together with five other cities in Zhejiang, hosted the 19th Asian Games from September 23rd to October 8th The Games are very “smart” with the use of many exciting technologies. Let’s have a look!
②Every dish at the Asian Games should be safe and healthy to eat. In the kitchen of the athletes’ (运动员) village in Hangzhou, there is a special system (系统) that can tell people’s faces. If a “stranger” goes into the kitchen, an alarm will go off to let people know. The managers of the kitchen will also get messages on their phones. There’s also a system to keep an eye on the temperature of the fridges.
③Want to walk around at the stadiums (场馆) but can’t make it in person? You can try the Asian Games’ metaverse! It’s a mini program (程序) on Alipay. It’s like an online cartoon world. You can see the stadiums both from the outside and inside. Also, you can have your own character in the metaverse. You can choose clothes for your character who is able to “run” around the stadiums and talk with other online users.
④Say that you are in Hangzhou and going to watch one of the events. It will be sad if you can’t find your way. Augmented Reality (AR) is here to help. Studying for exams doesn’t always come easily. Sometimes you can’t pay attention to what you need to do. At other times, you can’t figure out how to organize your study to make good use of time. With the Pomodoro Technique, you will be better at how to plan your time.
The Pomodoro Technique is a method with around 25 minutes studying periods divided (分割) into 3 to 5 minutes’ breaks.
While you are during a pomodoro (番茄钟) , it’s important not to distract (分心) yourself. That’s why I don’t advise you to study at home. You may be distracted by remembering the floor to sweep, or clothes to wash. It’s better to go to a quiet library, where the Pomodoro Technique will work.
But there is something more efficient (高效的) than planning your time. If you have a clear goal, you will work better. Here are more tips to improve your performance.
Motivate yourself.
Have a goal, make a wish board or watch interviews of successful people who encourage you. It’s up to you to find what motivates you, but when you do, studying will get easier.
Get enough sleep.
Short sleep will make you unhappy and influence your memory. An irregular sleeping habit may lead to many heart diseases and other illnesses. So you’d better get up or get to bed at the same time every day.
Clean your workspace.
In a clean environment and with a clear goal, studying will be more pleasant and effective.
