Keeping safe around strangers
A stranger is someone that you or your family do not know. Strangers can be nice and friendly. But some can be not. If you get lost, or feel unsafe and your grown-up is not near you, look for a safer stranger to talk to for help. Safer strangers are people who you can talk to and they will help you if you get lost. Safer strangers wear a uniform and a badge. You can tell the safer stranger your name and your parents’ telephone number. But never go anywhere with a stranger. Never get in a car with a stranger. If a stranger gives you a present or some sweets, say “NO” loudly. If the strangers want to take you home, say “No, I don’t know you.” and stay with your teacher or safer adult.
1.All the strangers are nice and friendly.2.Safer strangers can help you when you are in trouble.
3.In this passage, “grown-up” means “classmate”.
4.You can get in a car and go home with any strangers.
