Animal homes
Animal in zoos live in different kinds of homes. Usually animals live in cages(笼子) or behind fences. You can watch these animals, but you can’t feed or pet(抚摸) them.
In a petting zoo, small or gentle animals live inside pens(围栏). You can touch and feed the animals, and sometimes you can go inside the pens with them.
In a wild(野外) animal park, the animals are free. They don’t live in cages or behind fences. Their homes in the zoo look like their homes in the wild. You have to stay inside a bus and ride through the zoo to see them.
In the Xiangjiang Safari Park in Panyu, you can see all of these animal homes. Have you ever been there?
