The polar bear (北极熊) is a very big white bear. It lives near the North Pole. At the North Pole, there is only snow, ice and water. The polar bear lives in the snow and ice. The polar bear has got thick fur (厚的皮毛) to keep (保持) warm. People can’t see the polar bear in the snow clearly(清晰地) because it’s white.
