“Long distance never separates closest friends” It’s 1． (easy) to make new friends than saying goodbye to old ones.

When I was still studying in China, my school 2． (hold) a singing contest (竞赛). I signed up (报名) because I really loved singing. I sang with a girl named Jenny. She’s one of my best 3． (friend) .

4． (unlucky), I was nervous and I forgot the lyrics for a moment when we sang. We lost the contest. I felt guilty (内疚). Jenny tried 5． (comfort) me by saying, “There will be another chance.”

After about a week, our school’s art festival began. I decided to enter it. The 6． (one) person I thought of to join me was Jenny, though I wasn’t sure if she would want to.
