Lisa is a student. It is Saturday. Lisa goes to her part-time job (兼职工作) at KFC.
In the morning, an old man comes into the shop with two kids. He comes to the front desk and buys two hamburgers for the kids. When they finish the food, the old man walks back.
“How much are two glasses of coke?” he asks Lisa.
“They are $1. 40,” Lisa says.
The old man sighs (叹气) and says, “I don’t have much money.” Lisa sees the little kids are sad. Then, “That’s OK. I can pay (付款) for them.” The old man says “No,” but Lisa insists.
The old man comes back again after the kids finish their coke. He thanks Lisa and says her kindness warms his heart.
