One Sunday night, I heard my 15-year-old son Tommy was quarreling （争吵）with his younger brother Kevin while I was reading in my room.

About ten 1． later, I heard that Kevin was crying in his room. I knocked on the door and asked, “Kevin, what’s the matter?” There 2． not answers at all. So, I took a piece of paper and 3． “If you don’t want to talk, we can write it down to each other. Then, I slipped （塞）it under the door.
