At the beginning of each year, many people make their resolutions. They hope to improve their lives in the coming year. So do all my family. I think it is a good way to tell yourself to work hard. But how can you remember your resolutions? We should write down our plans and wishes on a piece of paper and put it on the wall!
— Robert
Having a New Year’s resolution is good. But how can we remember it? We are busy with our work every day and we have to look after our families at the same time. We can hardly find more time to think about ourselves. So, you see, a resolution is just some words you said to yourself!
— Ben
There are different kinds of New Year’s resolutions. Some of them are easy to to keep, but some are hard. For example, if your resolution is about taking up a new hobby, it is easy to keep it. And you can practice it every day. But if you want to take a trip to the moon, it is almost impossible for you. So the resolutions should be realistic (现实的). Try to make a small resolution, or the best resolution is to have no resolution! Do you agree with me?
