Tom and Mike were good friends, they began to work in a company together the same year. They both worked hard. After several years, however, the boss made Mike manager（经理）but Tom was still an office worker. Tom couldn’t stand it, so he handed a letter to his boss, saying that he decided to resign（辞职）his job because the boss didn’t value his hard work at all.
