Mao Junfang is a bamboo craftsman (手艺人). In 1974, at the age of 17, he began to learn how to make bamboo weaving crafts (竹编) from his father.
Ten years ago, making bamboo weaving handicrafts could not support his family, so he had to work as a gatekeeper for a factory. He could take a one-day break every other day.
Bamboo weaving crafts requires both skills and patience.
