In China, there are lots of interesting places to go. But I want to go to Hangzhou best. Why? Because Hangzhou is a beautiful and clean city. Especially, the West Lake is the place we must visit. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world, I think. And I also want to visit Harbin. It is white and clean there, but it is cold in winter. I want to go to all the places in China. They are all fantastic.

On holiday, Daming visited his cousin Simon in New York. One day, Daming and Simon want to visit the UN building. And Simon’s dad takes them to there.

The UN building is a very important building in New York. The UN wants to make peace in the world. Outside of this building, there are flags from all around the world. There are 193 member states in the UN. They make a big family. The UN building is beautiful, it’s tall and big. Many countries give presents to the UN. And China give a present to the UN, too. It’s a train. Daming and Simon wants to go into the building.

Chinese people live and work in many countries. So there are many Chinatowns. The biggest (最大的) Chinatown is in San Francisco. San Francisco is in the west of the US. We know Americans speak English. But many people can speak Chinese in Chinatown. They are Chinese. There's Chinese dancing there. People can watch TV programmes and listen to the radio in Chinese. That makes Chinese around the world feel like (像) at home. For foreign friends，they want to learn Chinese culture (文化). So Chinatown also spreads (传播) Chinese tradition (传统) to the world.

Many people like to travel by plane, but I don’t like it. Because an airport is usually far from the city. You have to get there early and wait for hours for the plane and it is often late. You can’t open the window. Planes are fast, but they still take hours to get out of the airport and into the city.

I like travelling by train. I think trains are safe (安全的). When you are late for a train, you can catch another one. You can walk around in the train and open the windows. You can see many interesting things on your way. But it takes a little more time.

I also like cars. You can carry many things with you in a car. But sometimes there are too many cars on the road.

Do you know Chinatown? It's the home of overseas Chinese.

There is a big Chinatown in New York. It's a good place to visit.

Shopping in Chinatown: You can find many things from China there. Mott Street is a good place to shop because the things there are very cheap.

Eating in Chinatown: You can have delicious Chinese food there. Evergreen Restaurant is famous for Shanghai food.

Living in Chinatown: You can find hospitals, schools, libraries and supermarkets there. In some schools, students must study Chinese. Many overseas Chinese send their children to these schools. They want their children to know more about China and its culture.
